BLOCK Exhibition

18 renown designers have touched Turkish Natural Stone and sent in proposals to be commissioned and processed with Turkish natural stone by the industries and craftsman in Turkey. Beyond the enduring bonds to be established between cultures with BLOCK, the exhibition aspires to generate the flow of information within the zeitgeist of cutting-edge design and natural stone industries of Turkey.

	. In tribute to the nature of the material, the designers have approached marble from many different directions: lightness and weight, timelessness, mythological references and their complexities, evolution of the material and the reinterpretation of traditions.
BLOCK is sponsored by İMİB-İstanbul Mineral Exporters Association  and produced by Haaz Gallery. BLOCK has been featured at Antrepo No:3, adjacent to Istanbul Modern between 15 to the 30th of November, 2007.
